WAVES flip-flops are made from soft natural rubber latex and mould to the shape of the foot. This makes WAVES very comfortable and helps prevent annoying blisters. They offer exceptional durability and all-day comfort. WAVES flip-flops are manufactured in Sri Lanka and can protect your feet from stones or hot sand. WAVES flip-flops are waterproof, so you can walk in the lake or the sea even on pebble or stony beaches – and they are also perfect for the indoor swimming pool or the gym shower.

Natural rubber: The natural rubber latex used in our WAVES is a natural raw material that grows on the Hevea brasiliensis tree in Sri Lanka and is tapped by hand under Fair Trade conditions (see also information on Fair Rubber). The natural rubber is harvested in a way that ensures the trees’ natural life cycle is maintained (around 20–30 grams per tree per day). Natural rubber is breathable, easy to clean and incredibly comfortable to wear.
Adaptable: Natural rubber is a spongy material that moulds to the shape of your foot. This makes Waves incomparably comfortable and, hopefully, annoying blisters a thing of the past.
Safety: Whether you’re at the beach, at home or out in the park, these flip-flops have a non-slip sole and a durable strap that gives your feet extra support.
Fairly traded: More information on the fairly traded natural rubber used in every pair of WAVES can be found at www.fairrubber.org. When developing our products, we work with local artisans and rubber experts. The latex is harvested and extracted by hand from rubber trees in FSC-certified forests. Through our partner, Fair Rubber e.V., we help to improve the working and living conditions of plantation workers and ensure sustainable production.

Vegan: WAVES flip-flops are suitable for vegans. The formula is free from animal-derived ingredients. The milk component casein is NOT used in the manufacturing process.
Formula: The mixture used to make WAVES contains 10–15% synthetic rubber. This is currently the minimum amount of synthetic rubber required to ensure the flip-flops have the correct consistency and quality. This prevents the flip-flops from wearing out too quickly.
Plastic-free packaging: WAVES are delivered in plastic-free cardboard packaging. This can be recycled. The boxes are designed as slipcases and can be given a second life as a place to store cherished holiday memories.
Care instructions: Hand wash with lukewarm water. Do not use harsh detergents – they could damage the material. Store properly: Avoid deformation where possible, e.g. lay flat – this will ensure the shape and comfort are preserved long-term.
